New Year’s Resolution
So my New Year’s Resolution is to post at least 1 recipe I make(with pictures) every week of this year.
Life is like a camera. Just focus on what’s important and capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don’t work out, just take another shot.
"Quiet people have the loudest minds."
"The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not to twist them to fit our own image. Otherwise we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them." -Thomas Merton:No Man Is an Island
So I kind of dropped off the face of the earth(or tumblr rather), not that anyone probably noticed. Going to go back and call today day 1 of quotes and get back on track. Life has thrown me some curve balls recently so these quotes are probably going to reflect that.
I am an infinity of myself.
Inhabiting every vanished moment,
Not one of us does die in time itself
But blazes with life and is never spent.
Thus every choice is both made and unmade
Every day anticipated yet lived.
There are no mistakes because all is swayed
With knowing. Loss is…
Day 9 quote
“Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.”
- Albert Einstein
Day 8 quote
“A man is never more truthful than when he acknowledges himself a liar.”-Mark Twain
Day 7 quote
“Nice people have to be bastards every once in a while so that others can fully appreciate their gentle, loving nature.”
Day 6 quote
“If at first you don’t succeed, skydiving is not for you.”-Anonymous
